Believing in the power of prayer and believing that God desires us to pray for His Kingdom's work to be fulfilled (see John 14:12-14), we ask that you join us in our Prayer Network for the Carroll Institute. In Matthew 18:20 Jesus says that "if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." The collective prayers of believers are effective in accomplishing the Master's work.
The work Carroll Institute is doing could have significant impact in preparing men and women called to Christian ministry. Today, 80% or more of our churches are declining or are on a growth plateau. Seminary enrollment and graduates are declining. We have not seen an adequate number of people prepare for vocational ministry to replace those who will reach retirement age in the next ten years. The emerging generation now reaching seminary age is looking for non-traditional and innovative approaches in education. There is a significant mandate to provide a new approach to theological education. Carroll Institute is following God's leadership and direction to pursue this mandate. Will you join us and become part of the legacy of Carroll Institute? Ministry to your children's and grandchildren's generation depends on what we do today to prepare ministry leaders. |
